About Sycamore Farms

Sycamore Farms is a 23-acre transitional organic farm, expecting certification in 2006. The farm operation is diversified, including a variety of vegetables, grains and livestock. Sycamore Farms is also a member of the Seed Savers Exchange, so many of the varieties of grains and vegetables raised on the farm are heirloom strains. The livestock includes three breeds of geese, three breeds of ducks, rabbits and multiple breeds of chickens. Sycamore Farms is also a mixed power farm, using draft horses and small tractors to work the ground. Currently for sale are live and dressed rabbits, heirloom chickens and guineas. Later in 2006, we will have eggs, rabbit, chicken and vegetables. An Organic Farm specializing in rabbit, duck, geese and chicken. Duck and goose eggs are available in season. OEFFA organic certification expected in 2006. Following sustainable agricultural farming practices. Presently selling farmers markets, direct from the farm, retail stores, food co-operatives, health food stores and restaurants. Previously OEFFA and OCIA certified at former farm operation.
