The Green Temple
About The Green Temple
The Green Temple restaurant sprouted from the aspiration, an idea of the lifestyle that can save the world. It is based on our cultivation of caring for the space that we occupy. Care to create and sustain the beauty of the surroundings, care for the food that we prepare, care for people who come to spend time with us, and above all, care for each other. It is not perfect, but it is constantly growing towards compassion and beauty. When you come to visit us, we hope you will kindly forgive us for imperfections you may encounter and allow yourself to be open to the harmonious atmosphere we strive to create. Our food and our environment are both given the utmost attention in the form of ingredients as well as our labor. We work with local farmers to bring you seasonal produce and we shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's for quality products. We are striving to bring you organic produce and ingredients when available. All of our lettuce, grains, legumes, soy products, nuts and spices are organic. The rest depends on season and availability. We bake in glass and use filtered water for cooking. Our to go containers are either corn based or recycled. We are looking to employ alternative sources of energy for our work. We are devoted to quality and beauty and strive to serve plates that reflect not only care for our work but also our care for each other.Near This Listing
