About Hill and Hollow CSA

Hill and Hollow farm employs methods of intensive gardening, inter-planting, mulching, drip tape irrigation, and terrace gardens along side traditional row run crops to produce an array of vegetables May through October. Hill and Hollow has slowly introduced more livestock to help fertilize and managed the grass land, including a flock of Jacob’s sheep, heritage breed turkeys, a Jersey milk cow and her calves and a variety of chickens in chicken tractors roam and peck and spread fertility. They sell through their seasonal CSA and at local farmers markets, including metro Nashville Farmer’s Market and Bounty of the Barrens Market in Glasgow, Kentucky. They deliver CSA share baskets to each of these markets, and sell fresh cut flowers and extra produce, including farm fresh eggs, shiitake mushrooms and other seasonal local specialties.
