About Prairie Heights Bison
Prairie Heights Bison is owned by John and Jeanne Bowron and is located in the southwest corner of Minnesota on the prairie grassland of Rock County Luverne, MN. With 320 acres of pasture full of native grasses and a natural outcropping of red glacial granite, this prairie setting was once a roaming area for the plains bison. Prairie Heights Bison's mission is to reintroduce and educate all visitors about the American Bison and their native prairie grasslands. We do not use sub-therapeutic antibiotics or growth promoting hormones. Prairie pasture and natural grain blends are our feed sources.
