About Beecher's Handmade Cheese
Unlike most artisan cheese makers, Beecher's Handmade Cheese mainly uses pasteurized milk and operates a high-volume modern production facility, with multiple farms supplying milk. They own their own herds of dairy cattle and farms to ensure control of the cheese-making process from beginning to end. When visiting, you are invited to grab a sandwich in our cafe and watch the cheesemakers at work, or wander downstairs into The Cellar where to enjoy a glass of wine and bite of food in the glow of our cheese cave, where row upon row of Beecher's award-winning cheeses ripen to perfection.
