Our gentle herd--never hazed or dogged--comes by voice when it's time to change pastures or pens. We believe low stress plays a role in the excellent color, taste, and tenderness of our meat, which comes from certified Red Angus cattle. We also practice delayed weaning, allowing calves to be closer to mothers until an older age, easing separation.

We will not buy stockers to extend our product. No grains, hormones, or medications beyond calf-hood vaccinations are ever administered. Moreover, no commercial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides are ever used. We only sell what we raise in our system. Our diverse soils and terrain offer several water sources, much natural tree shade, and a selection of grasses, forbs, and clovers.

We have observed over the last 20 years that the cattle have their own daily patterns of feeding, watering, and shading. We are not pushing numbers, only naturalness and comfort for us and the livestock. Our dry-aged beef is offered as split halves, halves, or whole, processed to your order. After dry-aging 10-14 days, the meat will be cut to your order, double-wrapped and frozen for your pick up at the processors facility. Available year-round.
