Edible Excursions is an award-winning food tour company offering intimate culinary strolls through San Francisco’s famous Ferry Building Marketplace, culturally diverse Mission District, historic Japantown, and downtown's craft cocktail bar scene. They can also ship you off to Alcatraz after a Ferry Building food tour. Regular East Bay food tours of North Berkeley’s iconic Gourmet Ghetto, dubbed the birthplace of California Cuisine, Oakland's hippest culinary gem Temescal, and Uptown Oakland's theatre and arts-oriented neighborhood are also available. Additionally, Edible Excursions provides custom food tours for private parties and corporate groups organizing team building activities. Edible Excursions’ explorations take place in neighborhoods where small business owners, artisans, purveyors, farmers, and restaurant chefs share their personal food stories and their passion for local, seasonal, sustainable eats. And, of course, along with learning about each area’s culinary and cultural background, guests are treated to signature tastes from seven to nine different stops along the way.
